Try the renewed interface for professionals

This update is relevant for all professionals

We have started updating the professional interface – the environment in which professionals work on a daily basis. Our aim is to create a more modern and user-friendly working environment, and we will be working towards this step by step over the coming period.

Professionals can now sign up for the new professional interface via a toggle in the profile menu.

The first feature we made available is a new home page showing which clients currently require attention:

  • For each client, it is indicated whether there are any open tasks and/or ongoing conversations.
  • Clients with outstanding tasks are displayed above those without.

From the home page, the therapist can go directly to the page where action is required with a single click. Professionals can also search for clients by name and then click through to the clients page.

Does a professional still prefer to use the current interface? They can switch back easily to the current interface at any time. This choice is saved at user level, not per session.

Other pages for professionals will remain in the current interface until they are also redesigned.

We’re very keen to hear about your experiences! We warmly invite care professionals to test the new interface. Do you have any feedback? Please share your thoughts via participate@minddistrict.com.

Minddistrict app

New app for clients

This update is relevant for clients

Both the new iOS and Android apps for clients are now available in the App Store and in Google Play Store. Clients do not need to download the new app if they already had it. It will be made available as a standard app update. Depending on the phone and settings, the app will either update automatically or need to be updated manually. Clients will remain logged in after the update.

This update is primarily a technical upgrade, so clients may not notice many changes at first. Thanks to the new foundation, we can improve the app more easily and make adjustments based on user feedback. We will share these improvements in future release notes.

Do you receive feedback or reports of technical issues from clients? Please let us know via participate@minddistrict.com.

New helpdesk software and support pages

This update is relevant for application managers

Soon we will switch to new helpdesk software. As a result, our support pages will also be moved to a new environment. The pages may therefore look different from what you are used to, but the content will remain the same.

Have you provided links to specific support pages in, for example, an internal user guide? If so, these will no longer work after the transition. The link to the homepage for all supportpages, https://www.minddistrict.com/support, remains the same. It’s just about the specific pages.

New Instructions for Use

This update is relevant for all users

We have published new Instructions for Use for the Minddistrict Platform. There are now three versions, one each for patients, healthcare professionals and application managers. Each explains how to use the platform safely and effectively, and covers the features that matter for that role.

Why new Instructions for Use?

The Minddistrict Platform is currently CE-marked as a Class I medical device under the European Medical Device Directive (MDD). The EU has replaced this directive with the Medical Device Regulation (MDR), which has stricter rules for safety, clinical evidence and user information. Minddistrict is now in the transition to the MDR, where the platform will become a Class IIa medical device.

The MDR requires instructions that are clear for the people who actually use the device. Patients, healthcare professionals and application managers need different information, so each role now has its own version.

What does this mean for you?

Nothing changes in how you use the platform. We do recommend reading the Instructions for Use that fit you, so you can keep using the platform in the right way.
