Attachment file size increased
This update is relevant for all users.
From now on, it's possible to send larger files as attachments to conversations. The file size will be increased from 2 MB to 10 MB. You can send a max. of 40 MB per message.

Add and edit a conversation subject
This update is relevant for clients.
From now on clients can add a subject to a conversation in the Minddistrict app, and edit it. This option is available for the manager of the conversation. The person that starts the conversation automatically becomes the manager. The new option allows clients to have better oversight and to search faster within conversation. Titles of feedback conversations cannot be edited.
Download attachments in conversations
This update is relevant for clients.
From now on, attachments of conversations will be visible also in the Minddistrict app. Clients will have the option to download the attachments.

New: ‘Youth: coping with grief’
This update is relevant for all users. Some events can turn your life upside-down. When you lose someone or something important to you, it can feel as if your world has come crashing down, and nothing will ever be the same again. It can be difficult to move on with your life. But how do you do that? And how do you move on without forgetting the person or thing you lost? This module can help you make room for your feelings and cope with grief. |
Who is this module for?
This module has been developed for young people between the ages of 12 and 18 who need help processing a loss.
What’s the content of this module?
This module focuses on young people who are experiencing grief and would like to process a loss. The young people can read about the stages of processing an intense event or loss and other psychoeducation about grief. The young participant can get started with practical exercises that support the grieving process. Videos by experts help to acknowledge and process the loss. A journal has also been added in which young people can record the state of their emotions.
How can this module be used?
This module is ‘mobile first’ and can be completed entirely in the app or on a desktop. The module can be used by general basic mental health care practitioners and assistant practitioners, either with or without feedback from an aid worker. If you choose to use the module without additional guidance, the submission moments will automatically serve as moments for reflection. Dealing with certain issues online will offer more time for in-depth discussion during face-to-face sessions.

This update is relevant for all users We all have a range of feelings and emotions. But how do you express what you're feeling? And how do you deal with overwhelming emotions? Are you ready to take a look at your own feelings? Who is this module for? The module is intented for youth between 12 and 18 years old who have difficulty expressing their emotions. |
What’s the content of this module?
The young person receives psycho-education, can watch videos by experts and pear leaders and can start working on exercises. There are exercises aimed at investigating your own emotions and the corresponding reaction and coming up with a more helpful reaction. With the diary 'Emotion' young people can keep track of their own emotions.
How can this module be used?
This module is ‘mobile first’ and can be completed entirely in the app or on a desktop. The module can be used by general basic mental health care practitioners and assistant practitioners, either with or without feedback from an aid worker. But you might also be bothered with unpleasant thoughts that you just can’t get rid of. When that happens, we call it ‘worrying’. How do you deal with worrying? And what can you do to put your thoughts in order? Luckily, you can learn how to do that. Are you ready to learn how to worry less? |

The module is intented for youth between 12 and 18 years old who worry a lot.
What’s the content of this module?
The young person receives psycho-education on what worrying is. There are exercises aimed at dealing with worrying, like 15 minutes of worrying or taking a break from worrying. Relaxation exercises are also given.

This module is suitable for parents and educators who would like to learn how they can best deal with their child’s emotions. It provides information they can use to begin practicing skills for dealing with the child’s emotions.
What’s the content of this module?
In this module, the parent or guardian can receive psychoeducation on how to deal with emotions in children. The parent or guardian can learn what he or she can do to encourage the child to describe, recognise, express and process the emotion. In the exercise, the parent or guardian can apply these steps to a situation in which the child became emotional.
How can this module be used?
This personal route module is ‘mobile first’ and can be completed entirely in the app or on a desktop. The module can be used by general basic mental health care practitioners and assistant practitioners, either with or without feedback from an aid worker. There's no real training and no real how-to guide involved, and still you’re expected to just know how to do it. But parenting isn’t always easy. How do you make sure that your children are happy? And how do you ensure that you can all be happy together? This online module provides guidelines that can help you raise your children and work towards a more pleasant family situation. |
Who is this module for?
This module was developed for parents/guardians who have questions about child raising, who have encountered difficulties in raising children, or who would like extra tips and tricks about parenting. The purpose of the module is to provide information and to develop/practise parenting and child raising skills.
What’s the content of this module?
This module discusses several topics, such as showing children love and the right way to do it, and communicating with the child - including the concept of ‘mentalisation’. The module will also deal with making rules, as well as punishment, rewards and ignoring behaviour. It will also pay special attention to dealing with your child’s ‘digital’ behaviour and the role of the parent/guardian, as well as how you can learn to care for yourself while raising children.

New Minimum Data Sets (MDS) in all Long-Term Condition (LTC) modules
This update is relevant for all users For three of our Long-Term Condition (LTC) modules we already developed a new Minimum Data Set (MDS): Managing Type 2 Diabetes, Chronic pain and mood & Chronic pain and sleep. From now on the same holds for the other three LTC-modules: Neurological conditions and mood, Musculoskeletal disorders and mood & Stroke and mood. All have an improved integration of the MDS, easier to use for the patient, as well as for the therapist. |
